I have three separate computers... one after another the keyboards don't work. Any ideas why?
Haven’t received any notice updates... but starting to think that’s the deal...
Satan.
3 different keyboards at same time? Can’t be.
It will let login, but after that, no go.
[[Ran to work to finish job there, and did same thing.]]
Wait, is this happening with just one keyboard that you are using on several machines? IF so, just buy a new one- they are around what? $14 or so?- Have you tried the 2 boards as well? If so are they doing the same thing? If so then it’s obviously not hte boards- (well, almost 100% obvious), but something else- Bad USB connections- Bad USB controller cards- etc- but it’s just weird it would happen on 3 different computers plus your work one too? Unless you took a fiel fro myour work comptuer home to your home comptuers and transfwereed a virus-
*Grin*
I do hope you looked that number up and it wasn’t from memory.
Why would I look it up, you should easily be able to memorize it.
'Your hibiscus is ailing.'
NO! 3 different computers, 3 different keyboards (their own).
Stop eating while you are on the computer.
Extraordinarily coincidental.
Run your hands openly and pretty heavily across the whole keyboard then hit each key pretty hard in case one of the keys is stuck down. If the key is stuck, it might fill the buffer, though that should sound a continual beeping.
And make sure there’s not the corner of a book or sheaf of papers sitting on one of the keys as well. And unplug and replug the keyboard cable or little dongle if you have a wireless.
Definitely a PEBKAC error.
I could use a little spring tonic, granny.
I did share my project file w work compter, but not on 2nd home computer (but on same network). Laptop showed no sign of effect. All passed virus check.
Geez- weird issue- You weren’t too specific in how you were describing it- - sounds more program oriented, not hardware then- virus, perhaps windows 10 update- what brand keyboards? Although windows 10 should recognize most brands- Are they all same brand? Are all computers runnign windows 10? If not coudl be due to soem windows 7-8 update too- Do yuo use system restore? I’d give that a try first- go back a week or so beofe you noticed hte issue
Did that.. no beeps.
The code is actually for the Village I grew up in.
:)
Look for commonality. Software updates?
I agree. that beats a heckava lot of odds!
