Don’t laugh.
Many years ago, when “church shopping”, I went to one that said “Church of God: Non Instrumental.
I thought it was something to do with a particular creed or doctrine.
Nope.
They simply did not allow instruments to played during songs.
It was a bit of doctrinal expectations letdown.
It was also a “part time church”, and services were held in a funeral home.
Never went back.
They held services in a funeral home?
Reminds me of the 98 year old woman who had just finished burying her third husband.
She was tired and the mortician asked if she was OK, and she said, “It’s hardly worth going home, is it?”
