Yep, they did.
But that was not the weirdest church we tried.
Unaware, my then-husband and I went to a holy roller church.
At the end, they had him pinned down, screaming and crying on the floor whilst I cringed in the corner of a pew, looking for a way to flee before they turned their attention to me.
They were all about 100 years old and it looked like a scene from Dawn Of The Dead.
[forgive me Lord, but it was *really* terrifying]
Bless their hearts.
30 years later, I still shudder when I pass by that place.
Stories like this are why I love FR.
