You KNOW they will bring it to the federal level and make it applicable in *ALL* states.
They’ve done that with every bloody issue from abortion on up.
“They” have been bringing unconstitutional issues into the federal government for a long time. Time for the states and the American People to reject and nullify unconstitutional federal acts which are by definition acts of tyranny.
