Many times in interviews I see Cruz being asked a question. He gets this little thin grin with his teeth kind of showing and he chuckles his shoulders up and down so anyone watching knows he thinks the question is laughable.

And then, after he goes through those gyrations, he starts his sentence with, “Look...” or “Listen...” in a condescending tone, as if he were schooling the questioner. I really hate that.
His oral communications are pretty abysmal, really. How he got the reputation of “master debater” or “off-the-charts brilliant” is a mystery to me.
That hilarious. I’ve seen the same thing and it bugs the crap out of me.
