That doesn't mean your unprincipled, naked opportunist "constitutional law" expert would make a good President.

In case you haven't noticed, Ted Cruz has been collapsing in both national and state polls for the last few weeks.

The People have weighed him in the balance, and he has been found wanting.

Conversely, Donald Trump is now winning primaries with well over 50% of the vote, and in a 3 man race! Trump already has about 2.4 million votes more than Ted Cruz, and that gap is only going to widen moving forward.

After Cruz sees several more last place finishes today, he will fall even more.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

irreparably splinter the party
destroy voter enthusiasm
induce countless Trump voters to stay home
lose to Hillary in a November landslide

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition.

Ted Cruz's egotism and narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison, and he has long ago ceded the moral high ground to Donald Trump.

Would one of you Cruz fanboys please explain to us any plausible scenario under which Ted Cruz can unite the party by usurping the nomination from the clear frontrunner?

Gee, Kevin, I have a PhD in biochemistry and belong to several honors societies and professional organizations. Plus, my IQ is above 160. And I support Trump.

See, two can play at this game.

BTW, I can fully understand why a lawyer would support another lawyer. Personally, I can't stand the thought of another lawyer president--the ones we've had so far have messed things up so badly.

BTW there are more then a few Lawyers on here some way more accomplished then the ones who have to tell others how smart they are...
