I once left my dogs in my gas guzzling SUV with the engine running and the A/C on full, to enter a 7=11 for a minute. When I came out some stupid bitch was trying to break the window out to “save” the dogs. It was a 50 degree day and cloudy. They had a bowl of water in plain view and neither dog was panting. She had pulled her car up to the back of my truck and wouldn’t move it. About that time two local PD pulled in for a donut break. I let her tell the cops her story. When she was done I told the cop I wanted her arrested for attempted destruction of private property and unlawful detainment. The cop resisted until I pointed out to him that she had just confessed to both crimes. Long, short. They hooked her up and hauled her off and had her car towed. DA didn’t press charges but she did spend the night in the county slam.
