Even if, by some miracle, Cruz manages to wrest the nomination away from Trump, does anyone anywhere think Trump’s people are just going to say “oh, okay. Whatever” and vote for Cruz? Speaking as one of them, HELL NO. Add a couple of million more HELL NO’s to that, and Cruz has absolutely, positively NO chance of beating Hillary in the general election.

Given that, WHY IS HE STILL IN THE RACE? I can’t believe he’s delusional enough that he doesn’t see that - so he’s just in it for... what? Ego? To screw Trump? To elect Hillary? Because he thinks he’s the anointed King of The World?

What makes this even crazier is that even if Cruz/Fiorina did force a contested convention, there will be separate votes for president and vice-president, and there is no guarantee that either of them would be chosen. In fact, I would consider it highly unlikely.

What needs to happen now is that Trump needs to soundly beat them in Indiana next week and put this nonsense to rest for once and for all. I hope the good people of Indiana also see this for the farce it is and vote accordingly.
