The media’s strange alright...
Yes! That’s it.
I love that area, it’s like it has a part of my heart.
Isn’t it peaceful? I love fishing off a pier.
Lucky you!
I want to visit the Sea Bee Museum in Gulf Port and the Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola. It is the best air museum there is. We have lunch in the recreated NAS Cubi Point O club restaurant. We lived at Subic for a year. There is a new to us exhibit there. Also there is a fantastic place to buy sea food in pCola.
Love the Naval Aviation Museum AND the cafe. It's like eating in history.
We are returning to the Silver Slipper Casino for the sea food buffet. we will spend three nights at the Gulf Shores state park. It is a massive camp ground but is convenient to lots of other places.
I've stayed at the camp ground once, loved it.
On the way home, we stop in Bham for Sukiyaki
What's that?
Where is the indian pottery shard mound?
It's actually a place on the beach behind (if memory serves) the small weather building.
Exit 57 i believe...Wind Creek Casino...We don’t go cause the food is just so so...Biloxi is better.
I knew a guy that took a group of inner city prisoners(local program offers early release) into the woods for Menasha. Trapping boomers, I think. He briefed them about the job, and told them the most dangerous thing out there were “timber tigers.” Chipmunks, to the locals. He said “If you hear one, head for a slash pile(which would be full of them), jump up and down, yell, and for God’s sake, cover your balls.” Hilarity ensued when the first chipmunk went off.
