Many businesses, especially state governed businesses MUST use checks for vendor bill paying. There is no other option.
But even then often they’re using software that just collates the data into a check. And really the government and those businesses need to get off their asses and join the 21st century. Checks are dead, your bank hates them, they’re the most labor to process, and the most open to fraud. Time to move on.
