I find it interesting how the word “workers” has replaced the word “employees” in media and by the Federals.
Takes me back to those wonderful uplifting news stories out of the Soviet Union.

The use of “workers” isn’t new. It’s been aeveral decades in the media.

My pet peeve is “working class”. No one ever talks how insulting this is.
First, as if those with higher income don’t work. Second, as if those without, do. Alot. When often it is the bare minimum. Writ large with the non-worker at the bottom who should be called the welfare class.
