I liked Fred, miss him; I worked on the Santorum campaign when I lived in PA...we had everything red except Philly, Harrisburg, Pittsburg, they wiped out everything else..I don’t trust Newt...to much baggage and remember what he did to his wife while she was so sick, same thing with Juan MC Cain...Cruz=eeww!!!
I know of Newt’s lousy personal treatment of his ex wife. I’ve held my nose for so long for many candidates, it became almost rote. Still, Newt was “better” in my estimation than Mittens. Hated having such a choice.

This is a first hand account of the incident from Jackie, Newt's daughter, regarding the "incident". Quite different from the narrative from the MSM.
In the interest of accuracy we need to stop the false story about Newt trying to get his ex wife to sign divorce papers when she was recuperating from cancer. Even here in Atlanta we believed that story for years. Jackie Gingrich Cushman Newt’s daughter came out during the 2012 race and issued a formal statement debunking the whole story in detail. It simply did not happen. Newt’s ex wife as far as I know is happy, healthy and living in FL.
