Were you entirely absent from FreeRepublic during the riots in Chicago over Trump, or are you just being a deliberately obtuse troll?
I think what the other Freeper was referring to was Cruz blaming Trump for the violence at the cancelled Chicago rally.

Cruz joined, or maybe revealed his alliance with, the media who blamed Trump for the protestors.
Trump had been talking about going back to a 50-50 funding share with NATO in Brussels, down from the 70-30 funding that exists now, as part of his policy proposal to have allies and trade partners pay for US Military protection and services. He was talking about not so long ago the US and other members of NATO shared 50-50 in the funding of NATO. He wants to go back to that arrangement.
But then the terror attacks occurred in Brussels and WITHIN HOURS my former favorite candidate Ted Cruz launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump for suggesting the US ‘cut its funding’ of NATO and drew an association with Trump’s talk topic with the terror attacks in Brussels which Cruz emphasized was the HQ of the NATO Command.
I could not believe my ears. Cruz did not even bother to pay respects to the victims nor the victim’s families. He went straight for the jugular with Trump and it was so bizarre that it caused me from that day on to judge Cruz as a maniac, having a screw loose somewhere.
And it wasn’t an isolated incident. At every appearance that Cruz had with people and the media, he was blaming everything and then some on Donald Trump. He was obsessed in a very unhealthy way.
Many of my former fellow Cruz supporters also saw there was something wrong in Cruz but they wanted to downplay it and hope that he would land a VP slot on the Trump ticket or an appointment to the Supreme Court.
But after watching and studying for months my former hero of a candidate degenerate into a pit of nonsense while surrounding himself with scumbags (Jeff Roe) and scoundrels (Neil Bush, a Bank Robber), I could take no more. He’s not fit to be anywhere near the White House or the Supreme Court.
There’s something wrong with the man. Oh for sure he can talk Constitution and push one’s conservative buttons, but there’s another layer to him which is foul, very foul.
