The west has been programmed the importance of “feeling” vs thinking, in media and arts for the last 60+ years.
It’s gotten so bad that you can routinely hear US Miltary officials casually state during an interviews, how the “feel” about a conflict or adversary, instead of what they believe to be true or known.
Our language and critical thinking have been co-opted -
