From what I hear, back when Bill's two terms expired, after Gore, she was promised by the Democrat big wigs that she would be the next Democrat nominee. Bush, at the end of his first term, was more popular than thy anticipated him to be, so they selected John Kerry to lose in her place. When 2008 rolled around, she was there, but did not catch fire with the masses like they hoped that should. And they had this guy posing as a Black from Illinois that had caught fire with the unwashed masses. She and Bill were assured that, if they did not raise a fuss and went along with the plan, she would definitely be the nominee in 2016.
