I live in Orange County, CA.

I have had my new “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates on my Car for about a Month.

So far, mostly positive Comments. Outside of a friendly Thumbs Down and a couple of dirty looks, no problem.

When I ventured South to Escondido, I encountered another Driver who was obviously upset at my choice of a Presidential Candidate.

A wonderful Latin looking fellow driving an old hot rodded (if that’s even possible) Honda Civic decided to pull alongside me on the 78 Freeway and flip me off.

My Passenger responded in kind before I even realized what happened. He said he couldn’t make out what the guy was yelling out his window.

While I suspected that daring to have a Trump anything on my Car could be an issue, I am getting the feeling that nothing is beyond the imagination of what an upset Leftist is capable of.

Needless to say, the Car is never out of sight. If I need to go somewhere where it isn’t secure, I’ll take the Wife’s Kia.

I could take the easy route and get rid of the Plates, but it has become a matter of principle to me. WTH has happened to this Country that you have to fear having an opinion?

I remember seeing F**k Bush Bumper Stickers on Cars, even in supposedly Conservative Orange County. I would never think of doing anything more than looking at the Driver and shaking my head, even though I could not understand how anyone can drive around with the “F” word on their Car.

I felt for the Mothers driving their Children around pulling behind one of those Morons and having to explain what that was about.

The point is, back in 2000 things were bad. Now things are a whole lot worse. The Civil Society is no more, at least in any Urban or Semi-Urban / Suburban areas.

I don’t doubt for a second that Mr. Adams felt threatened.
