I just wrote a piece about concealed firearm carry options that go beyond conventional holsters. If we can expect to wait three hours for the police to attempt a rescue, then they can expect us to make our own survival plans that don't include them.

Not quite sure I'd want to carry either one of those, when a Glock 26 is so easy to conceal, and spare full size Glock 17 magazines fit in the G26.

Ten rounds of 9mm goodness, then multiple 17 round reloads should be more than enough for any civilian CCW.

I have one of those pistols. And boy does it fit my hand good, shoots good, and is accurate. Any defects are that of the shooter, not the gun. And I have, as its mate, a Sig .380. Each time the trigger is pulled it goes bang and the bullet hits where it is aimed. And, last but not least, thank you for the article and ideas.

My black canvas fanny pack holster holds my P229 and four extra mags nicely. It has a quick release zipper with a pull tab on the top corner.

It boasts an embroidered 2” x 4” Nikon patch across the front, and has a pocket with a key ring clip. Folks ask me what camera do I have ... well, it’s a D-40 (HST) of course.

Lawful carry law in Utah points specifficaly to the DUI statute, currently .08 BAC being the upper limit. Carry in bars, stores and schools is legal with a CCW.
