I’ve been thinking we should start up state militias again. Police and military can’t be everywhere at once in this vast country.

We can also effectively start hardening soft targets, even if just a little, by getting rid of gun-free zones.

Well ok . I am addressing Christian groups protect themselves from assassination with great vigor. The issue is Church attacks — which are coming from these godless bastards. I have also advocated militia defense of church members and safe harbor gathering at church buildings with 14 day food and water supplies.Think people. This is a RELIGIOUS WAR!! STOP THE DENIAL. Jesus is LORD!!

Twenty-six states have state militias, more commonly known as state guards. These are not affiliated with the state national guard but are home guards that handle in-state emergencies like natural disaster relief and evacuations. They can also be used to initially confront invasions and insurrections until the cavalry arrives.

South Carolina, for example, has three battalions of state guard located strategically throughout the state. Just about anyone can join their state guard.
