I agree, they are probably extremely scared of what hacked information will drop next. If they assume everything was taken, which it probably was, then a lot of people may wind up behind bars, which is why they need to win, so they can just sweep it all under the rug.
No one will wind up behind bars. The Justice Department will refuse to recognize anything from unapproved leaks.
