Never saw it, but it sounds like what the Duvaliers did to Haiti...

“don’t want to want to work, they don’t even want to “think” !”

Whenever my 1st husband was confronted by some hand-wringing liberal nanny saying drug addicts had to be watched over and kept from getting/using drugs, no matter how much time and tax money it took-he always said “why? If we just leave them alone, the problem will soon solve itself without any more money being spent”-I really think the same logic applies here-foist them off on some country with land that isn’t being used for anything and let them either learn to swim-or sink...

Since I haven't seen this movie in many decades, I decided to look it up. The original play was on Broadway in 1922. It was about some Caribbean Island ( sounds just like Haiti right there ! ), not some African nation. The revival was in 1924 and the movie was made in 1932 or '33.

But we don't really have to even look abroad, at Haiti nor some Caribbean Island...just look at what Black Dems have done to major American cities, once they run them as mayors and almost/all elected officials !

That's not to say that NO blacks could run such cities, but it would have to be a Conservative one and fat chance re getting such a person elected.
