My sentiments exactly. Well expressed. We now have a gazillion people getting food stamps but last month there were three major food drives in Houston alone.

Local TV also did a huge story about a young lady who was feeding lots and lots of little kids lunch. Where were their mothers and why weren’t they fixing lunch for them? Just how much effort does it take to fix a pb&j sandwich and a piece of fruit? Our local Dollar Tree has bread, peanut butter and jelly. Pick up some small apples at the store - 3 for $.99 - and milk for $1.99. For less than $10 you can feed at least two kids for lunch for a week.

Good grief.

What you posted is true. However, every pennyspent on food cuts into the dope stash. Besides. that is what food stamps are for.

When I was growing up, our parents fed us. Every member of the family sat down at the table and ate. The only exceptions to this was when someone had to work.
