I will add that another element of my take on the feigned outrage directed at Lauer for his tough questioning of media darling Hillary is that her performance was lackluster because she was ill that week. Dehydration, pneumonia, whatever.
It became important to attack Lauer to distract from the fact that Clinton was too feeble to make a good showing during that forum.
That’s the problem. The panels of undecideds done on networks saw Hillary winning. They don’t see it how we see it.

Yep, and RNC Communications says Lester interjected 16 times when Trump was responding and 0 times while she was. INEXCUSABLE.
He started right out by setting the stage for her.
He said, now that the economy is strongly recovering and people have jobs. Which it isn’t - it is the weakest recovery in history - and people only have jobs if you realize they cooked the numbers.
Of course, anyone outside of DC, VA, NYC and Silicon Valley that would work against the propaganda, because their first instinct would be to say, “Hey, since Obamacare kicked in, I haven’t been able to find any job not part time! What freakin’ recovery are they talking about?”

Yeah, Trump should have had the stats ready to go on the economy. He can improve that by the next debate.
I thought of something else. Hillary made a BIG blunder during the debate. She was talking about stamina and mentioned she had to testify for 11 hours as proof of that. BOOM! That was a YUGE opening for Trump to pound her on Benghazi. He missed it.
This is why I think it would be good for Trump to do a mock debate with someone like Laura Ingraham. They could throw in a mock biased moderator too. I do think he has to study more to prepare for the next debate. Next debate has TWO moderators who are both liberal. That’s 3 vs. 1.
I actually thought the exchange between Holt and Trump on Trump’s supposed support for the Iraq war was helpful to Trump. It gave him a chance to air it out and explain himself. The left has been portraying his comments on the Howard Stern show as some kind of definitive position statement on Iraq. But that’s BS, and he got to explain why it’s BS, and he did a good job of explaining it.
My wife and I could not believe ,and said how on this earth could he think of asking those questions , when we face so many issues right now as a country.
