I hope this is true (that people are smart enough to fear corrupt government officials). I would not have guessed this. Most people are unaware how quickly we could slide into Stasi territory ... and in fact we are there with unfounded accusations about people running rampant.

This is irreconcilable with "polls" which claim that the most obvious and obdurate corrupt grifter ever to seek the office is so far "ahead" as to be an inevitability.
