My husband (in his mid fifties) is a Trump supporter and has moved into the “what is the NFL”? camp and has not watched a single game.
This is big deal for him and not done lightly as he played college football and has always watched since he could understand the game.
The theory that the men who are boycotting the NFL are the same men who will vote Trump makes perfect sense. Women too, of course, but for the moment let’s just talk about the men because I am pretty sure most normal alpha men can’t stand Hillary, my husband included, although to make it clear, it is not the “anti-woman-president-misogynist” false talking point from the liberals that is causing him to vote Trump; it is the issues. He would vote for a woman who was correct on the issues.
People who are voting Trump are disgusted with the anti-American crap the NFL is allowing.
