Doesn’t matter to me, I’m still planning on homeschooling.

That’s a selfish worldview you have there. Not all people are in a position to homeschool. What’s more, do you live in this country? Do you give two craps about the youth and how they’re educated or are you a-ok with generating more low information snowflakes just because you homeschool your kids?

We all have skin in the game here whether we have kids or not and regardless of where our kids go to school.

I imagine you keep pretty busy as a parent. I don’t blame you if you’re not going to solve the nation’s problems this day.

I know too many people who go from one mission to another, always solving the problems of the world, but never solving their own problems.

That's a choice one can make and I too went this way for awhile, but don't think you may do this the entire time as life rings uncertainties so at least think about others who can't homeschool and are not wealthy enough to choose a private school. You still pay taxes regardless. On another note, I have learned from experience that homeschooling isn't always the best method especially when it comes to social skills. I'll advise against it to anyone who asks. Let your kids grow up and learn what the majority of kids learn and have fun and be a kid.
