That’s the boomer entitlement mentality talking.

The reality is that the public debt tracks Boomer influence on the political system almost precisely, and that they’ve left the generations after them over $20 trillion in federal debt alone and almost 10x that in future obligations. Those are hard numbers that prove which way the money has moved.

That represents a direct wealth transfer to Boomers from succeeding generations. Far from being victims, the Boomers have sucked the future dry, largely for personal self-gratification, in the futile attempt to fill the abyss of spiritual emptiness with material consumption.

Boomers did not elect FDR. It was our lifetime of labor that was taxed to purchase our parents and grandparents votes for big government solutions to everything. We were sold a bill of goods that was really a big pile of shit by the time we were allowed to smell it. We are the generation that were used to purchase our enslavement while at the same time financing our children's future. The whole thing was a lie from the beginning and nobody saw any problems while there were so many of us boomers working and paying social security taxes to help support those who received benefits.

It is going to take a generational effort to fix things whether you like it or not. You are good at finger pointing and complaining about it but as of yet that seems to be the entirety of your effort. Offer a solution instead.

Another thing, 75 percent of that twenty trillion debt you complained about, has happened since YOU joined this website. Why are YOU and or YOUR generation not to blame for allowing this to occur?

I’m Gen X; we’ve been outvoted all our lives by the insatiable appetites of the “Me” generation, and before that generation expires we’ll be being outvoted by the Millenials.

Hand us the reins and we’ll fix it. We’ve neither the spiritual vacuity of our elders nor the trained ignorance of the young.

We’re really the last chance this country has to hold onto its identity as the bastion of human liberty. Put away the pride and follow our leadership - while Boomers have been in denial of and refusing to take responsibility for the consequences of their actions (and as your posts betray, clearly still are), Gen X has been on the butt end of all those abuses our whole lives. We don’t have the delusions and illusions that Boomers have because that shit has rolled downhill on us since Day 1.

Honestly, if you can’t see how amazingly wretched the Boomers have been, I have to wonder if there are any conservative instincts in you at all. The fiscal irresponsibility alone is so bad it has no historical parallel.

Blaming others is a cry baby behavior. Offering a solution to the problem takes a MAN. Look at your postings in this thread a figure out which one you have been. Offer a solution or go crawl in bed with your pacifier. Like I said earlier, 75% of our national debt has happened since YOU joined this website. Why is this not partly YOUR fault?

I’d say the fact that I’ve been working to stop it for a quarter century makes it not my fault.

“Crybaby” is name calling, hardly appropriate argument for a man.

The proper term, one you should be well familiar with, is “redress of grievances”.

Projecting your sense of entitlement (to a “return” on money that was stolen from you long ago, then spent, by Congresses elected at the prime of Boomer electoral power) onto someone who expects and feels entitled to absolutely nothing other than an end to the stealing, is not the behavior of a man.

That, my friend, is the behavior of a crybaby. And unfortunately, all too revealing and typical of a generation that never ever really grew up.

Once again, you REFUSE to man up and offer YOUR solution to how this “stealing from your precious little snowflake ass” ends. You are really good at insulting others and being a crybaby though.

"Stop stealing" is the solution, son.

If I said "Thou shalt not steal" would it go down any better?
