People i know who are leftists are in pure meltdown, I don’t even try to correct their thinking anymore, after 8 years of trying it would be insane for me to continue.

I usually just try to amp up their crazyness by deliberately misleading them.

I have that little respect for them to even try to change their minds anymore, i loathe their willful ignorance so much.

One pinged me on social network about the Berkeley riots, I told them the riots were about some a group wanting to stop a gay Jewish guy from speaking.

And they pinged me back saying these trump supporters that want to stop freedom of speech must be stopped....

I was speechless.... The wilful ignorance.... I loathe them so much they don’t even deserve to be argued with anymore...

What sucks is when its your entire family; parents, siblings (very large family at that). I can barely go down to their part of town to visit, they have the TV on MSNBC all the time. I have stopped trying to convince them of anything years ago.

I had one friend on FB who is a real looney tune. She made some remarks today about President Trump that were not true. I was fed up with her so I tried to set the record straight. I knew what I said would upset her but I did not care. She unfriended me. No great loss. I won't have to read her lies anymore.
