I have no problem with them having a boy doll. I'd chalk it up to marketing research. Some little girls have brothers. And some don't but might like their dolls to have one.

Frankly, from the headline, my guess was that it was going to be a transgender doll.

Exactly my reaction! Was relieved the doll was a boy who actually looked like a boy.
