The mainstream media, including its alphabet television news networks, the New York Times and Washington Post are sitting this morning on the bombshell revelation that ex-Obama official Evelyn Farkas appears to have owned up in her own words to have participated in well-planned surveillance of the Trump team conducted by the Obama administration which buried their dirty work deep in the federal bureaucracy. Farkas, who left her position as deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia in the Obama White House in 2015, and who went on to join the Hillary Clinton rat pack campaign team, spoke openly about her personal knowledge of Obama national security officials rushing to preserve as much intelligence as they could before Trump took office and directed that information to Congress:

“I was urging my former colleagues, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill, it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration,” Farkas, who is now a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, said. “Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left, so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy … that the Trump folks – if they found out how we knew what we knew about their … the Trump staff dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.”

I listened to Hannity last night and he was going crazy over this story. In all honesty, I really want it to be true but it seems her remarks were more ambiguous. Maybe it’s just me...
She apparently left the DOD in Oct 2015 and started working at Atlantic Council in Feb 2016... for whatever that's worth.

It's possible she was just trying to make herself sound super-important. She left the DOD in 10/2015, so who knows what her involvement could have been.

What does “how we knew what we knew” mean?
What did they discover and how did they discover it?
The second question could have several meanings:
1) Trump’s staff was being surveilled on purpose ( this is illegal ).
2) The Russians were being surveilled and Trump’s team was incidentally monitored. But the law states that the identity of Americans should be MASKED and minimized. The above statement shows the OPPOSITE was being done. Unless they can prove from the surveillance, any collusion, they have committed a felony.
The next question is this — why was there a scramble to get as much information they can ( and the context of her statement indicates that it INCLUDES information about Trump’s team )?
If the law states that you must minimize or mask the identity of American citizens, then it is hard not to conclude that this data being kept is being done so in order to possibly be used as a political weapon.
Now, let’s see how you could give a better, alternative benign explanation based on this so-called ambiguity.... I’m all ears.

Beyond her revelations about spreading anti-Trump intel, Farkas could be important to unravelling the whole Russian interference narrative. It stems from Clinton’s interference in Ukraine, that helped cause the coup there, and triggered civil war and disaster.
Why did Clinton interfere in Ukrainian politics and long term Russian interests? What was Farkas’s role in creating and pursuing this policy, and the anti-Russian sanctions in its aftermath? Do the accusations against Trump associates relate mostly to Ukraine? I have the impression that they do, and that the reason for surveillance was that Manafort and others were on the “wrong side” of Obama’s anti-Russian policy developed in reaction to Hillary’s debacle. It is time for a complete airing of how and why Clinton/Obama came to subordinate US policy and politics to Ukrainian nationalism.
