Clarke too political and wonder how he’d fit in with FBI culture. Christie stained; Rudy unreliable; Goudy and others in Congress are too much keystone cops that haven’t accomplished anything.
Sheriff Clarke would be fine, as a Democrat the RAT fire might be mitigated some. But can you imagine him being examined by smarmy RAT Senator? I would pay to see that.
we need someone seen by law enforcement and non law enforcement as a professional cops. we also need some one that understands how the bureaucracy works. most of who ever is appointed job will be trying to non politicize the agency. unfortunately I think the justice department is in the same shape as the FBI. The biggest problem created by Clinton, and Obama is the taking of government agencies and using them to go after political opponents.
