Badgers are pretty tough.
I believe the mascot for the University of Wisconsin is a badger.
I can’t think of any school that has a weasel as a mascot.
Well, probably some law schools, but not whole universities.
Americans are the only ones who hold the ‘weasel’ in such low esteem.
Back during the Bush Admin, our UN ambassador used the phrase ‘Axis of Weasels’ in a speech at the UN and everybody looked around at each other like ‘What the hell does that mean? What is he talking about?..............
No school has a ‘weasel’ as a mascot, but ‘Wolverines’ are the largest member of the weasel family along with the badgers...............
