This is a little bit off topic but you should know the answer.
I have an old friend I have known since 1970. He is a nice guy and extremely intelligent but he has told me a story several times since then and I suspect he is embroidering on the truth.
He was in the Navy and said he was at Da Nang around 1968 or so. He has said he underwent so many rocket attacks that he was suffering from shell shock/stress after he got out of the Navy.
Could his story be true?

There were many rocket attacks against the Danang airfield and Marble Mountain and other targets - we used to watch those things launch south of u and streak over us on the way to Danang. I don't remember that many hitting, because they weren't all that accurate but I can imagine some people could have pretty shook up.
Kind of depends on their fear threshold, I guess.

Da Nang was called “Rocket City”. Don’t know if he was there, but, yes it is possible.
