The Colonel told Captain Steele “Why, that’s excellent – I like innovation” and Captain Steele beamed but he said, “instead of that Marine trying it out, I want you three to do that duty, Christmas, New Years and the weekend after instead and when you’re finished, I want you to come back to me and tell me how it was, OK?”.

Those giant hangars were something, weren't they? They were lousy for parades, though - the music rebounded off the walls to make a discordant mess.
