Another literary masterpiece — I can’t thank you enough for generously taking the time to write it and share it with us. I didn’t want it to end, and I anxiously await the next installment, if you are so inclined.

Such richness to the stories, with humor and heart, and connected with a humble realness that will stay with me for a long time.

This is publishable work, not only in print but as a film, or at the very least it is a slam sunk for the next popular podcast. Storytelling is making a huge comeback through podcasts, and it is becoming big business. I don’t mean to cheapen your experiences by suggesting there is profit potential, but this work has great value. The writing is superb and the stories are important and compelling.

I hope the writing process is not too painful for you as the memories come flooding back. But I suspect you are finding value in the process of crafting each paragraph. I like to think you are even enjoying it, since developing quality writing is an intensely creative and fulfilling thing.

I think I speak for many here and for those who will read your work in the future: It is time well spent. Thank you, and please carry on.

It means a lot to me that you enjoy my writing. All I’m trying to do is to share these experiences while I still can.

There are so many distorted/false/biased accounts out there that the real record of part of our history may be completely lost if we don’t do the hard work to compile it.

I hope more of us write of our experiences, all of them. All of us - you too.
