I've told this story before, but it's so relevant here.

When I was a small child (maybe five or six) I happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time in the apartment complex we lived in back then, and a rather violent dog fight broke out very close to me.

I wasn't hurt, but I was frightened and then amazed at the violence of it.

One of the things I remember is that one of the dogs went from snarling viciously to frenzied whining as the other dog got the better of it.

Then, a second later, the tables turned and the whiner dog was right back to frightful snarling and biting.

The an instant after that, the same dog was back to pathetic whining.

This cycle repeated several times, and it really made an impression on me. The "underdog" had no sense of shame or embarrassment about whining when he was down, then threatening and attacking when he thought he had the upper hand.

The antics of so many of the left-wingers, both politicians and media personalities, remind me of that dog fight all the time.

Your story is very illustrative. Now, in Pres. Trump, we have the ultimate alpha dog, and he is supported by a ton of young, aggressive supporters on social media who don’t hesitate to go for the jugular of anti-Trumpers.

Wow. Dogs know strategy better than humans.

Sounds like Sun Tzu.

When strong, attack. When weak, retreat.

A lot of ritual in dog fights. Keeps real damage to a minimum.
