I wish someone could explain why if DeSantis did not see the shooter carrying a rifle to the field just prior to shooting, where was it? Did he hide one earlier or did some accomplice do so. Confusing.
He appears to have been in the area for at least a month. Spent a lot of time in the YMCA across the street from the baseball field.
He had a van. No one has reported where the van was parked.
He also had a 9mm pistol as well as the rifle.
This was a pre-planned military style ambush two months in the making. This was an assignation. The perp knew about the charity baseball game and the practices but he was exactly sure of when the practices took place but he did know where. He knew that practice would be the best time to make the hit. So he camped out at the target zone and waited.
