“In CCW courses they emphasize consideration of the actual threat and downrange implications.”
Yep, same in my class, you are responsible for every round that leaves your weapon.
Idiot. It is only a vehicle.

When using or storing a gun, always follow these NRA rules:
Know your target and what is beyond.
Be absolutely sure you have identified your target beyond any doubt. Equally important, be aware of the area beyond your target. This means observing your prospective area of fire before you shoot. Never fire in a direction in which there are people or any other potential for mishap. Think first. Shoot second.
I know it’s tempting but you shouldn’t shoot when they are running away. Even if they are running away with your stuff. You especially shouldn’t miss and send rounds into your neighbors house.
You own that bullet and are libel for everything it does until it stops.
Stealing a vehicle is felony theft, so its a felony.
The worst "training videos" on this are on Hawaii 5O. If you want an example of what NOT to do watch any episode.
