So what you guys are saying is that when people saw that this guy was promoting a rally, and claimed to be KKK, they should have seen through it?

And then what?

If you believed he was KKK it was OK to go?

If you believed he was faux KKK it was OK to go?

The point is to recognize that fact that agent provocateurs join the ranks of their opponents under a false pretext in order to discredit their opponents. In Charlottesville alt-left agent provocateurs provoked a riot and then tried to pass it off as alt-right violence. Alt-left agent provocateurs turned a peaceful protest into a violent confrontation in order to turn public opinion against alt-right dissenters and thereby deny them a voice in the national conversation. Such political tactics are as old as Julius Caesar and Crassus.

An actor, playing both sides, fooled a bunch of group-dependent people to show up for either AntiFA or Unite the Right (whoever they are). His goal seemed to be strife (and mayhem if possible), which the deep state can twist and turn in their media organs to cast aspersions on and to isolate Trump.

I’m not saying anyone on the outside of his evil scheme could have seen what he was doing. Anyone that joined in with either group in C’ville has their own reasons, some benign, some evil, most just to see what their contact circle was up to. Hopefully a lot of them now know it was feverishly stupid to associate with either group.

People who aren’t dependent on group thinking probably had no desire to go.
