Heh heh, who knew the folks that fought against the "Fascists" in the Spanish Civil War, named their battalion after a "Fascist".

A woman I knew’s father fought with the Abraham Lincoln brigade. She was named Victoria after the Battle of Stalingrad. He went to the USSR for some kind of reunion. She had some Russian tea he brought back with him. This was in the 60s and nobody (except people like Sanders or Oswald) went to the USSR. I guess, looking back at it now she was a classic Red Diaper Baby.
