Matt Drudge has been to the White House many times in the past six months. I’m telling you, man, I’m just not buying all this.
I think there’s a lot going on here behind the scenes. I really suspect what we’re seeing here with Bannon and Drudge and soon Sessions is a “work,” to use the professional wrestling term. I think all this drama is following a plan worked out ahead of time. I’m even beginning to suspect the opening act was the whole Scaramucci kerfuffle.
Hey, maybe I’m completely wrong. Maybe everything is exactly as it appears on the surface and the Trump administration is crashing and burning right before our eyes.
But... it’s just... Something keeps nagging at me.
So many people are acting in ways that go against their past history. If you look at everything you know about each person, don’t their actions seem... off..somehow? Trump seems to me to be the same guy he’s always been. What drastic change has there been in Trump to make them all so disloyal?
Drudge has always been in Trump’s camp and now all of a sudden he’s not? And he’s going to use all the power of his site to cast shade on Trump every chance he gets?
Bannon has always been loyal to Trump and suddenly out of nowhere he publicly knifes him in an on-the-record interview with the most lefty journalist he could find? (Like I said in another comment elsewhere: The guy Bannon came off as in that interview would NEVER be stupid enough to give such an interview. )
One other thing occurred to me: If you are on the Left or the Establishment all of this makes perfect sense. Everyone is acting just like the people you’ve always considered them to be. But if you’re on the Right you might keep thinking, “But that’s not what that person would say... Why would he do that?”
Honestly, I’m looking for Sessions or Sebastian Gorka to jump into the fray soon. Maybe even Pence will play a part.

Didn’t it all start with Trump blasting Sessions and then giving that interview with the NYT. If I recall, that was before the Scaramucci episode.

What if the plan is to create a new media empire which would be a foundational piece for the long-term AMERICA-FIRST-MAGA movement ... possibly even a third party run by Trump in 2020?
The REPUBLICAN SWAMP is taking the cowardly, low road of BLAMING TRUMP for THEIR OWN FAILURE to pass his agenda.
There may be no remedy for this inside the GOP.
I don’t get some of the rhetoric here tbh. Many of you seem to think everything that comes out of these politicians mouths is the reverse of what they really mean because everyone is playing some kind of “long game” subterfuge and one day soon they’re gonna pull the rug out and say “abracadabra” on some kind of shit. Like, just what do you expect is the ultimate outcome of all this? A shiny gold ticket that wins us the lottery will not appear out of Trump’s hat.
