Charles is black first, a patriot.......not even in second place, probably closest to 5th or 6th place.
I love all these celebs crying about they were embarrassed or let down by Trump. They hated him before all of this. Kind of like when a 3 year old starts screaming louder because they are not getting their way.

Hey Charles, I’m a veteran and love that flag, and the Texas flag. Granted, I live in the outback but I seriously think I’d grab a burning flag and shove it into the burner’s face.
I’ve liked Charles, and thought he was reasonable, but he has said things that suggest he thinks very highly of his place in society as an elite athlete. It’s that kind of attitude that has led to athletes feeling that they exist apart from the fans, and that their stature and financial worth also exist apart from the fans. In fact, all of their stature and financial success from their sport is intrinsically linked with and dependent upon the fans.
To be fair, Barkley also came out against comments by Derrick Rose about not wanting to live with aches and pains after he retired. Charles said Rose should consider himself lucky that he can drive an expensive car home to his mansion, and that a shouldn’t complain about the wear and tear of the game that lets him live so well.
Still, there’s that attitude that separates athletes from ordinary people. We are all, in the end, ordinary people. Forgetting that leads to a destructive lack of humility.
Isn’t Barkley usually on the correct side of things?

He was running his mouth way back during the Olympics. I thought he’d grown up a bit lately but apparently not.
I really don't give a rat's patootie what he or any other "athlete elite" feels about anything...whether it be politics or the weather.
To hell with him and his opinion.

So Charles must be happy with a high black unemployment rate, a high number of black abortions and black fatherless families, black-on-black killings in Chicago, and decades of Democrat welfare programs that kept blacks in the ghetto.
