I worked around lefties for a long time. They are emotional creatures. You cannot reason with them. Facts, logic and the lessons of history are completely irrelevant to them.
The minute you try to reason with them they immediately resort to ad hominem attacks and their canned straw man arguments.

That’s my experience for certain! I would rather argue with the squirrels in my Hickory trees, their chatter seems to at least make some sense. If leftists understood logic they would not be leftists.
