According to Baker, those quick to accuse the Times of bias were simply confusing editorials with news stories.

The Times confuses editorials with news stories.
I don’t think my hip wades are high enough to keep out this bs.
And who chooses the editorials that are printed ?
Perry White of the Daily Planet SAYS vetoed!
The NYTimes has always been liberal and will continue to be liberal.
That said, the current editor is on a campaign to make it look, as he said, “down the middle.”
I believe this is an effort to convince liberal readers that they’re getting balanced news. Why? Because Trump’s ascent caused nearly every liberal media outlet, including the Times, to reveal their liberal bias to their readers (along with everyone else.) That is, liberal readers were made acutely aware that they were getting biased reporting. Those who’d managed to delude themselves for years could no longer continue the delusion that they were reading unbiased accounts. They were told, in no uncertain terms, that they were getting their news from outlets that were out to get Trump. It’s hard to claim to be unbiased after that.
So now, in an effort to restore their liberal readers to their former deluded state, the current editor is making all sorts of moves and pronouncements in an effort to convince them that they are, that they remain, the “paper of record.”
Won’t work on us, but it will probably work on most of their regular readers, the liberals, that is.
Liars are gonna lie...that’s what they do.
Actually, liberalism would be a step up in integrity from where they are right now, which is unprincipled opposition to anything Trump.
” those quick to accuse the Times of bias were simply confusing editorials with news stories.”
i don’t see where it’s possible to be confused because NYT has no “news” stories, only editorials and editorials DISGUISED as “news” stories.
