Sessions is worthless. He’s a milquetoast, and doesn’t appear to have the fortitude for that position. Trump now knows it, but he’s stuck with him for the time being due to the political blowback that would result while he’s trying to get ‘something’ done in the Senate.

The beauty of such an investigation is that Rosenstein was involved in its earlier review so he should be required to step aside. Sessions could then appoint his third in command, a woman who is very smart and very tough, to oversee the investigation. I don’t know if Sessions has the guts to do it - he seems to be utterly lacking in backbone, like the proverbial deer in the headlights or the other side has something on him so he won’t get too far out of line. The Clintons and Podestas started the Trump-Russia collusion thing as a sideshow to detract from their involvement in the uranium swindle - its an old trick of Josef Stalin - accuse your opponents of what nefarious things you yourself have done - this way, you divert attention and they get the blame and suffer the consequences. Thus, Stalin would accuse others of having been a tsarist informant (he was), having been involved in supporting Orthodox Christianity (Stalin had been a divinity student); having killed Kirov, a rising star in the communist party (Stalin ordered the KGB to kill him and then got rid of his opponents for orchestrating Kirov’s murder). Stalin set the template - project onto others the faults of which you are most guilty. We’re seeing it here with the uranium deal.
