In 2008, Arkansas had an incoming Dem governor, 3 of 4 US House members, 2 US Senators, and both state legislative chambers. It only had 1 Republican US House member.
In 2016, Arkansas had an incoming Republican governor, 4 US House members, 2 US Senators, and both state legislative chambers.
From what I hear, Missouri is going to a similar transition.

I have thought since I heard his announcement that he was running for the presidency that he was nothing more than a face, that the real governing/transforming was going on behind the scenes. He was just a distraction.

One difference between Dems and GOP is that the GOP sees its victories as the ends while the Dems see elections as the means to their totalitarian nihilistic ends. Sure they are suffering electorally at the moment, but they have accomplished all their malevolent schemes to enslave the entire populace of the USA. To them a temporary nadir is worth it. Besides, even without winning elections they are still advancing virtually all of their policy preferences. They control the legislature. They control the administrative state, although I am cheered by Trump’s war against them it will take another two decades to succeed. They control the churches, schools, and media. They control the courts from top to bottom, including IIRC a 16-0 advantage in the DC Circuit (second most important court in the nation), and even a 6-3 majority on the SCOTUS.
Had they judged Obama by the Constitution, they would not have nominated him.
He is ineligible.

We knew Obama was a destroyer when in 2006 and 2007 he brought Alinsky campaign strategy to Kenya’s Orange Party, that of his alleged cousin Rial Odinga, which resulted in inter tribal genocide by machete and fire,and the deaths of 3000 people. Obama advized Odinga to take to Nairobi streets to protest the election results, and the massacres began, spreading to the country side. Much the same is happening in America , we are not killing each other, yet, buut thats what Obama wants, just as he did in Kenya.
