Around here farmers complain about deer and then post all their land.

Of course they do.

They don't want some nitwit shooting their cow. Or dog. Or child.

They probably have a certain number of vetted hunters that they allow to hunt their land.

I have to say, there is nothing like a corn and apple fed deer.
