“Christopher Wray was given the assignment by President Trump to work to rebuild the Bureau’s tattered reputation while rooting out the myriad bad actors”

So then why assign someone who hasn’t been a cop for a single day, never carried a gun at work, or made a single arrest?

The appointment of Wray highlights what a wrong track the FBI has been on for decades.

“We know the more recent stuff. In short, the FBI’s track record is probably only exceeded in its incompetence by that of the CIA.”

Throw in State Department for the trifecta.

The FBI has become unsalvageable.
Completely corrupted.

FBI needs to go bye bye.

Which means the CIA does too. Apparently not much difference between the two, in terms of criminality, incompetence and membership.

“Anyone listen to the excuses the FBI guy in charge for that area?”

I couldn’t believe when that dork actually said they couldn’t do anything because they couldn’t locate the guy who’s name they had, and of course, the threat didn’t specify a date and location when he planned to attack.

Just kill power to the campus and unhook the emerg. generators. Arrest anybody who tries to bring anything out.

I totally agree the FBI is both corrupt and incompetent. There was also no clause in the 11-page Constitution that authorizes their existence.
The FBI must be disbanded and many of its agents put on trial for violating their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

We do not need to replace the FBI though, domestic law enforcement is constitutionally the domain of the states.
The only thing the federal government ought to do is regulate the Commerce of information between them.
State of Florida drop the ball in Florida, they were warned clearly about this guy and they took no action they also failed to implement policies and procedures that would have kept him out of the school.
Most critically though they failed to institutionalized this guy.

I hope this idea gets legs. It’s starting to sound like the entire 7th floor is going to jail, along w a few FISA judges and hopefully administration leadership up to Obama, but I’m not holding my breath.

It is puerile, even idiotic to think that the FBI can stop or even stem the flow of such incidents. The failure is in the homes, churches, schools, and local communities where the moral restraints need to be learned by maturing children, ingrained by the time adulthood is reached.

There can be no freedom in a culture when individual behavior outside the bounds of acceptability is not a possibility. Neither can there be freedom when enforcers can hinder or immobilize individuals before a law is broken.

I was a young man back then. It’s funny that all the FBI people that I have ever known have been upstanding. I think the FBI compartmentalizes so so much that they have now idea about the horrific puzzle that all the pieces make.

The only way to fix a corrupt agency is to start fresh with a new one replacing the damaged one. That is a fact.
