The reason Democrats are hyping this shooting, besides 'gun control', is this shooting is going to be their campaign issue for 2018 and 2020.

This is the campaign issue they wanted. This is the campaign issue they desperately needed.

'Republicans don't care about protecting your children from gun violence!'

'Why do Republican X and President Trump oppose 'common sense' gun control?'

'Why won't Republicans stand up to the NRA?'

'Why are Republicans still taking money from the NRA?'

Do “most” Americans in Pittsburgh Pa, Spark, Nv or Dothan Alabama on a personal level really care about kids in some upper middle class suburb of Fort Lauderdale? Really no.
