Can't find anything on the news and 5 PM was supposedly the deadline.

Because of the quiet, I'm guessing that he was indeed fired.

The deadline is Sunday, there are two more days to squeeze him. He is more worried about indictment than pension.

On the contrary, I doubt they could keep it quiet if he had been fired today. He’s probably skated. Anyway, we should know for sure very soon....

Fat chance. Him and Lois Lerner are probably having a nice dinner together meanwhile Flynn has sold his house to pay Lawryers. I can’t be more disgusted than I am. “Andy” conspired to destroy Trump who made you AG Jeff yet you protect McCabe and that little weasel Rosenstein. Have you no shame?

This is an interesting deduction.

I think you may be right that silence means he got the axe. If they were going to do nothing, they would have needed to get out ahead of the outrage from our side by expressing some rationale for ignoring the recommendation.

The can’t discuss personnel matters. And this qualifies.

He’s most likely cooperating and trying to avoid criminal charges and jail time. They can revoke his pension after he retires from wrongdoing while on the job.

Congratulations!

I was wrong. I hope I will continue to be wrong.

My fear is that not even a reluctant Sessions could squirm out of this one.

After all, the statute of limitations on perjury for Clapper have passed.
