This all may have happened, but none of it makes sense.
At the time, Hillary was up a bazillion points in every poll in the world...

Nobody was looking at an election, they were seeing a coronation.
why would this need to be done at this time ?

Good questions but the poll numbers were known to be manipulated. Oversampling democrats and such. So I would assume Clinton and club knew what many of us did.

Maybe just maybe the Clinton campaign had some internal polling that showed Trump just might have a chance to win this.

Here’s the scenario:

1. Hillary was convinced she would win.

2. She wanted to punish Trump anyway. Her scheme was to cook up something that she could use to go after him after she won.

I consider this a very likely explanation, because it allows for Hillary’s monstrously vindictive personality.
